[Objective] The occurrence of tumor is the result of many factors, before the cellular of the cell had obvious change, the molecular level of oncogenes and tumor suppressor has been expressed in disorder. Therefore, explore the molecular mechanism of the invasion and transfer of the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) has great clinical significance. FRAT1、MMP-9and RhoC played important role in the occurrence and development in many malignant cancer. The purpose of this research is to study the expression of FRAT1、MMP-9and RhoC and in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC)and to investigate the correlation between the expression of three indicates and clinicopathologic factors.[Methods] FRAT1、MMP-9and RhoC expression were examined in paraffin-embedded tissue that comprised of65LSCC and35adjacent normal larynx control specimens with MaxVision immunohistochemistry staining.The difference from positive expression of three indicators and clinical parameters were estimated using Chi-Square and Spearman Rank Correlation method.[Results](l)The positive rate of FRAT1expression was60.1%(40/66) in LSCC,and in normal tissues of adjacent to carcinoma was7.7%(2/26).The expression of FRATI in LSCC was significantly higher than that in normal tissues of adjacent to carcinoma (x2=21.049, P<0.001). The positively expressed FRATI was located mainly in cytoplasm and it had a relationship with age and differentiation(P<0.05). And the expression of FRAT1were no statistical significance about gender, differentiation, pathologic stage, clinical stage, type, node metastasis and distant metasis.(2)The positive rate of MMP-9expression was66.7%(44/66) in LSCC.and in normal tissues of adjacent to carcinoma was18.1%(4/26).The expression of MMP-9in LSCC was significantly higher than that in normal tissues of adjacent to carcinoma (x2=15.286, P<0.001). The positively expression of MMP-9had a relationship with differentiation and node metastasis(P<0.05). And the expression of MMP-9were no statistical significance about gender, age, pathologic stage, clinical stage, type and distant metasis.(3)The positive rate of RhoC expression was56.1%(37/66) in LSCC,and in normal tissues of adjacent to carcinoma was3.8%(1/26).The expression of RhoC in LSCC was significantly higher than that in normal tissues of adjacent to carcinoma (x2=24.324, P<0.001). The positively expression of RhoC had a relationship with differentiation、pathologic stage、clinical stage and node metastasis(P<0.05). And the expression of RhoC were no statistical significance about gender, age, type and distant metasis.(4)Correlation analysis showed that FRAT1and MMP-9、RhoC and MMP-9were positive correlation with each other.[Conclusion] FRAT1,MMP-9and RhoC, may play important roles in the invasiveness and transfer of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. And FRAT1and MMP-9、RhoC and MMP-9were positive correlation with each other. It provide new target spot for the molecular mechanism of the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
