Research Of The Relationship Between Meridian Circulation Direction And Meridian Qi

Objective:To advancedly reveal the component and characteristic of meridian qi andits influence to the direction of meridians circulation; meanwhile summarized the views ofpartial doctors of successive dynasties, then study the generally changing trend of thehistory of meridians circulation.Method:Begining from Moxibustion Canon of Eleven Channels, using philologystudy methods, systematically arranged the early medical documents, as Huang Di’s Canonof Internal Medicine, Nanjin, etal; referred to views of partial doctors in all ages andanalyzed the relation between meridian theory and clinical practice (sometimes appliedtheory to practice and sometimes separately), then deeply explored the characteristic ofchannel qi and its influence on the direction of meridians circulation.Result:Through studying the component, characteristic and effect of meridian qi,summing up multiple models of meridians circulation direction and its relation withmeridian qi,and arranging the sequence-change of shu acupoint arrangement fromacupuncture medical books, meanwhile, enumerating the views of different doctors fromthe traditional and modern aspect, then concluded the historical development and changingprinciple of meridians circulation direction.Conclusion:The direction of meridians circulation was influenced by meridian qi andis the unit of both aspect, which included the theory expansion and practice development,so that, we should treat it dialectically when we perform the modern study on meridian andcollateral theory.
