Object: By mining compatibility law of the Song Dynasty treating headacheprescriptions with Association Rules analysis to summary of the Song Dynasty in thetreatment of headache characteristics and to evaluate the practicality of the rules, in order toprovide a reference for the clinical treatment of headache.Methods: Established the database of headache prescriptions with Dictionary ofChinese medicine prescriptions as the data sources. Extracted data sets of the Song Dynastytreating headache oral prescriptions, then analyzed these sets with SPSS Clementine12.0data mining software using Apriori algorithm to establish data mining model, the minimumSupport was set to5%, and the minimum Confidence was set to50%. At last compatibilitybetween the drugs combination were displayed for Graphics with Web node.Results: Two hundred and forty Song Dynasty treating headache prescriptions wereextracted. There were200pill and power formulations in them, accounting for83.3%of allformulations; There were150prescriptions came from official revised prescription books,accounting for83.3%of all prescriptions; There were total239kinds of medicine involved,the total frequency of times were1957,46of which frequency was used in more than10times, accounting for76.2%of the total frequency; There were medicine used at least twokinds, up to19kinds, an average of8.15±4.03(X±s) kinds. The most frequently usedkind was relieving drugs, it was used486times in total, accounting for24.8%of the totalfrequency; it followed by Antipyretic drugs, phlegm drugs, tonics drugs, promoting bloodcirculation drugs, temperature inside drugs, reducing liver drugs, regulating Qi-flowingdrugs, tranquilizer drugs, resuscitation drugs. There were504rules acquired, Fangfeng was the most used medicine in all of the rules.
