| Objective:.To explore the clinical efficacy of the Renal Kang Injection(RKI) combined with hemodialysis in treating Chronic renal failure(CRF) patients. Methods:A total of41end-stage CRF patients under the hemodialysis treatment were randomly divided into a RKI treatment group of19cases and a control group of22cases. Both groups were treated with standard dialysis, and the hemodialysis was maintained in the same symptomatic treatment conditions.Patients in the control group underwent three hemodialysis treatments in a week, while those in the treatment group were given twice a week based on the symptomatic treatment. The RKI was given to the treatment group after each dialysis. An amount of40ml of RKI was dissolved in50ml of0.9%sodium chloride injection and was given with intravenous infusion rate of20-30drops/min for four weeks. Indexes and changes in serum creatinine (Scr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN) level, dialysis adequacy, nutrition status, electrolyte, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndrome and other aspects of the two groups were observed.Result:The treatment group and control group in renal function, dialysis adequacy, nutrition indicators and electrolyte, were not significantly different (P>0.05); treatment group TCM syndromes total efficiency of84.21%,45.45%of the control group, the treatment group were excellentin the control group (P<0.05); two sets of skin a mistake, numbness, dry stool symptoms did not improve significantly, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); fatigue, shortness of breath, poor appetite and indigestion, dizziness, headache, back pain, spontaneous perspiration symptoms improved significantly, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the treatment group than the control group. Two groups before and after treatment were three conventional electrocardiogram, liver function, kidney function, electrolytes, no abnormal performance. Treated patients during the use of RKI, found no significant adverse reactions, and good safety. Conclusion:The RKI combined with hemodialysis treatment of CRF. can improve the clinical symptoms of the patients and improve the patient’s quality of life. In the circumstances to achieve adequate dialysis RXI may reduce the frequency of weekly dialysis. |
