Renal Kang Iii Treatment Clinical Study Of 30 Cases Of Chronic Renal Failure,

Objective:The goal of this clinical experiment is to probe the mechanism and therapeuticeffect of Shen Kang .III on treating chronic renal failure (CKF), and search aeffective method of traditional Chinese medicine in treating GUF.Methods:60 patients with CRF of deficiency of both the Qi and Yin coexisting noxiousdampness and blood staisis were divided into 2 groups at random Shen Kang IIItherapeutic group (Group A, n=30). Ai Xite control group (Group B,n=30). Accrording to the requirement of disease both groups were treated withcontrolling blood pressure, correcting acid -base imbalance. Group A took ShenKang III formulae, one bag everyday add water to cook to 30()ml, P. 0 wornily twotimes daily at morning and evening. Group B took Ai Xite three times daily, 1. 2geach time, The therapeutic period is two months. Before and after the experiment,we assayed the patient's blood & urine routine examination, 24 hours urinaryprotein quantities, renal function group, blood biochemical criterion, albumen.The change of patients' clinical symptoms were recorded. At last the differenceof therapeutic effect between group A and group B were observed.Result:Result of the study could be summarized as:(1) Group A total effective rates were 86. 67%; while group B was 66. 67%; ihe toal therapeutic effect of group A was better than that of group B (P <(). 05).(2) Shen Kanng III could improve the patient's clinical symptoms, the effects was better than group B ( P<0.01).(3) After treatment, both Shen Kang III and Ai Xite could decrease Scr remarkably (P<0. 01 or P<(). 05), the effect was different from each other. But group A could decrease BUN remarkably (P<0.01) , and increase Co2 cp remarkably (P<0.01). their effects were better than group B.(4) Shen Kanng III decrease urinary protein and serum inorganic phosporus; increase albumen, red blood cell, creatinine clear rate and blood calcium (p<0.01 or p<0.05). Its effect was better than Ai Xite.Conelusion: Shen Kang III could improve renal function and clinical symptoms,decrease urinary protein, adjuct calcium-phosphorus metabolism.Shen Kang III therapy could markedly retard the rate of progression of CRF...
