Clinical Study Of Quyidi Capsule On Dpn Of The Polyol Pathway

Objective:To observe the clinical research of Quyidi Capsule on patients with DPN aldose reductase, the enzyme activity of Na+-K+-ATP, erythrocyte sorbitol content and effect on nerve conduction velocity,and to investigate its possible mechanism.Methods:72patients who had been diagnosed with diabetic peripheral neuropathy is deficiency of both qi and Yin, phlegm and blood stasis type patients, randomly divided into two groups,36cases in the treatment group,36cases in the control group.Treatment of two groups of patients are the same. Treatment group was given to Quyidi capsule, the control group oral Mecobalamin Tablets, treatment for12weeks, the nerve conduction velocity in patients with DPN and the polyol pathway indexes were observed before and after treatment (AR activity, Na+-K+-ATP activity, content of sorbitol) changes.Results:①Quyidi capsule can improve TCM syndrome integral,curative effect is better than that of the control group (P<0.05);②Quyidi capsule can improve the peroneal nerve, sural nerve conduction velocity (NCV), curative effect is better than that of the control group (P<0.05) and mecobalamin.③Two groups of patients after treatment, both AR activity, erythrocyte sorbitol content decreased, increased Na+-K+-ATP activity, Quyidi capsule treatment group of polyol pathway metabolism is better than Mecobalamin group (P<0.05).Conclusion:①Quyidi capsule can improve the syndromes of TCM in patients with deficiency of both qi and Yin, phlegm and blood stasis type DPN integral.②Quyidi capsule may increase the deficiency of both qi and Yin, phlegm and blood stasis type of nerve conduction velocity in patients with DPN.③Quyidi capsule can decrease AR activity and the content of erythrocyte sorbitol, activation of the NA+-K+-ATP enzyme activity.④Quyidi capsule’s clinical curative effect of yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis type DPN patients is likely to the polyol pathway indexes enzyme activity.⑤In the clinical application, no adverse reactions related to the safety of Quyidi capsule, seen in the clinical application.
