Background and Objective: pregnancy induced hypertension isidiopathic disease during pregnancy is the most common complication ofpregnancy, but also one of the reasons pregnant women and perinatalmortality in children. But its pathogenesis has not been fully elucidated.Cell adhesion molecules(CAM) in the immune response, graft rejectionand vascular endothelium plays an important role in the activationprocess. Many studies have shown that the incidence ofpregnancy-induced hypertension and CAM are closely linked. Myresearch aims to study the maternal-fetal interface, two kinds of importantCAM molecules: intercellular adhesion molecule-1(cell adhesionmolecule-1, ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(vascularcell adhesion molecule-1, VCAM-1), to study their role in thepathogenesis of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, and providescientific basis for prevention and treatment of hypertensive disorders inpregnancy. Materials and Methods:10cases of normal mothers,20cases ofwomen with mild preeclampsia,20cases of severe preeclampsia placentaand maternal decidua bottom: Using immunohistochemical methods weremeasured maternal-fetal interface (bottom placenta and deciduaexpression) of ICAM-1and VCAM-1, and after the completion ofimmunohistochemistry, using Olympus DP21microscope imageacquisition, each slice400times higher magnification in randomlyselected sections5horizons. And the use of image analysis system(Image-proplus5.0software) integrated optical density values measuredPictures (integral optical density, IOD), the mean value. Then usingSPSS18.0statistical software for data of each group were compared. Wayanalysis of variance difference between the two factor expressionintensity in the two groups was analyzed. Correlation of ICAM-1andVCAM-1expression intensity and clinical data in each group wascalculated.Results:1ICAM-1and VCAM-1in normal pregnancy, mildpreeclampsia, and severe preeclampsia bottom decidua were expressed;2ICAM-1and VCAM-1in hypertensive disorder in pregnancy the placenta.placental tissues than normal tissue; which severe preeclampsia placentaICAM-1and VCAM-1mild preeclampsia group increased moresignificantly.
