The Impact Quyidi Capsule On The Oxidative Stress Of Dpn And Curative Effect Observation

Objective To observe the effects of Quyidi capsule on the diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN) patients oxidative stress with serum superoxide dismutase(SOD), malondialdehyde(MDA) levels,and its clinical efficacy.To provide supplementing qi and nourishing yin,activating blood circulation and eliminating phlegm method is the scientific evidence for DPN treatment.Methods The diagnosed DPN patients were randomly and with control principles divided into treatment and control group,each group of36cases.Two groups of patients were given basic treatment of diabetes.On the basis of the treatment while the control group plus mecobalamin tablets,for12weeks;on the basis of the treatment while the treatment group plus Quyidi capsule,for12weeks.TCM syndrome score,glucose and lipid metabolism, oxidative stress,nerve conduction velocity were observed before and after treatment, and evaluate the efficacy.Results①After treatment,two groups of patients fasting plasma glucose (FPG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2hPG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) were significantly decreased compared with before treatment (P<0.01).In the treatment group FPG,2hPG,HbAlc of the patients improved significantly compared with the control group(P<0.05).②After treatment,two groups in total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C) were significantly decreased compa red with before treatment(P<0.01).In the treatment group TC,TG,LDL-C of the patients improved significantly compared with the control group (P<0.05).③The two group patients with bilateral peroneal motor nerve conduction velocity(MCV), bilateral sural sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV) were increased compared with the treat before(P<0.01).And the treatment group was better than the control group. ④After treatment,two groups of patients MDA,SOD levels were improved(P<0.05).In treatment group,MDA decreased,SOD increased were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).⑤After treatment,two groups of patients TCM syndrome score wer e decreased(P<0.01).And the treatment group was better than the contr ol group.The treatment group and control group total effective rate was91.67%and66.67%,the curative effect of Quyidi capsule was better th an mecobalamin tablets.Conclusion①Quyidi capsule treat DPN patients with deficiency of both qi and Yin, phlegm and blood stasis,improve TCM syndrome score,obtain good clinical curative effect.②It can significantly decrease DPN patients’FPG,2hPG,HbA1c, and decrease TC,TG,LDL-C, increase bilateral peroneal MCV and bilateral sural SCV,and increase the activity of SOD, reduce the level of MDA.③Its treatment mechanism of DPN may be related to antioxidation.
