Objective:To investigate the effect of cerebrolysin on the treatment of diabeticperipheral neuropathyMethod:100Kunming mice divided into6groups.Group A:blank control group(n=10).Use the other90mice to establish DPN model with high calorie and high sugardiet and streptozotocin.Choose50mice from the DPN mice which were close weight,stable blood glucose and in good general conditions,and randomly divided into5groups.They were, mecobalamin group(group B),low dose cerebrolysin group(groupC),moderate dose cerebrolysin group(group D)and high dose cerebrolysin group(groupE).Experimental drugs were given to each group and the following items were measured:slope experiment,the tail-flick latency,sciatic nerve function index,total licking time.Thesciatic nerve was prepared to be semithin section,stained by toluidine bule and conductneuropathology tests.Result:In slope angle and the tail-flick latency,group C,E,F had a statisticalsignificance compared with group B(P<0.01,P<0.05,P<0.01,respectively),but therewas no statistical significance between group D and group B.In total licking time,groupC,D,E,F had a statistical significance compared with group B without exception(P<0.01,P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.01,respectively).Under the microscope,we found that group C,E,Fhad a statistical significance compared with group B on average diameter and average area(P<0.01,P<0.05,P<0.01,respectively),nevertheless group C, F had a statisticalsignificance compared with group B on average circumference(P<0.01,P<0.01).Also,in the proportion of fibrilla,we found that group C,D,E,F had a statistical significancecompared with group B(P<0.01).Conclusion:cerebrolysin has the effect of promoting regeneration of the diabeticperipheral neuropathy.The higher the dose,the better the therapeutic effect. |
