The Theory And Clinic Research On Nourishing Yin And Activating Blood Circulation To Cure T2DM In Yin Asthenia And Blood Stasis Type

Objective To explore the change in subjects with type 2 diabetes in early stage andthe modification of Six Drugs Containing Rehmanniae Preparata（SDCRP） and Tablet ofginkgo Leaf after 18 month treatment.Methods The study was an 18-month double-blind, randomized, parallel controlledadd-on trial. A total of 103 subjects with diagnosed in type 2 diabetes with previoustreatment of hypoglycemic agents in early stage were recruited, whose differentiation isdeficiency of kidney yin type, accompanied by internal heat and stagnation. They wererandomized into two groups, one group receiving SDCRP and Tablet of ginkgo Leaf whilethe other group receiving placebo. 87 subjects completed the trial, 43 received SDCRP andTablet of ginkgo Leaf and 44 received placebo. At twelfth month,①Glucose Metabolism:FBG, PBG, Fins,HbA_1C;②Lipid Metabolism: TC, TG, HDL, LDL;Results①There were increase in FBG in both group. PBG increasedsignificantly in trial group （P＜0.05）. But it was shown no significant difference in HbAlcbetween twelfth and eighteenth month.②Fins increase in trial group, but decrease incontrol group. It was shown no significant difference in two groups （P＜0.05）.③LDL-Cincreased greatly in trial group, while slightly in control group.Conclusions①SDCRP and Tablet of ginkgo Leaf can improve the symptom oftype 2 diabetes.②It is showed a tendency that SDCRP and Tablet of ginkgo Leaf canincrease the sensitivity of insuline.③It is showed a tendency that the two traditionalmedicine can retard the increase of TG, LDL-C and the stegnosis of vessel, and loweroxidative stress.
