The Effects Of Lidanhuoxue Decoction On Cellular Immunity Function After Obstructive Jaundice Relief Through Operation

Objective: The objective of the paper is to observe whether LiDanHuoXue Decoction candecrease the suppression of cellular immunity during the postoperative stage of patientswith obstructive jaundice and can promote liver function in this conditon.Methods: 13 patients with obstructive jaundice which hospitalized from 2006.5 to 2007.3were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. Regular treatments suchas anti-infection, protect liver function, anti-acid and support treatment were provided toboth groups postoperatively. In addition, LiDanHuoXue Decoction was added to experimentgroup from the 3rd day to the 14th day for oral applicationpostoperatively. The T lymphocyte subsets such asCD3~+,CD4~+,CD8~+,CD4~+/CD8~+,CD16~+/CD56+ and liver function indexes such as TBIL (represented by jaundice decline indexJDI), ALT, AKP,γ-GT were monitored in both groups on the preoperatively and 1d, 7d, 14dpostoperatively. In the meantime, we observed the symptoms and signs of all patients duringthe stage of postperation.Result: The significant difference which was found in experiment group is that CD3~+ in 7dand 14d was much higher than in ld postoperatively (P＜0.05); In both groups, CD4~+in 7dwere obviously higher than that in 1d postoperatively (P＜0.05); Control group’s CD4~+/CD8~+in 7d is significant higher than in 1 d postoperatively(P＜0.01), the index in 14d is also higherthan in ld postoperatively(P＜0.05); The JDI during the 1d to 7d of experiment group isobvious better than that of control group(P＜0.05); Experiment group’s stomachache indexin 14d postoperatively is much lower than control group(P＜0.01), the anepithymia index in14d postoperatively and the abdominal distention index in 7d postoperatively were lowerthan control group too(P＜0.05); CD8~+, CD16~+/CD56~+ in both groups compare oneself infront and back have found no obvious difference(P＞0.05); no significant difference wasfound in two groups on each index except JDI postoperatively(P＜0.05).Conclusion: LiDanHuoXue Decoction can obviously raise the CD3~+ level in the plasmaof patients who developed obstructive jaundice in the postoperative stage; It also can helprelief patients jaundice index with enhancing the metabolism of total bilirubin; As well as it can alleviated clinical symptoms such asstomachache, abdominal, distension,anepithymia, etc. Therefore, it may be a useful way to improve patients recovery and promotetheir life quality during the postoperative period through the effects mentioned above.
