The Research Of The Category Of Yuan Rong In Tang And Song Dynasty

There were a lot of categories in ancient Chinese poetics, its formationhad a close relationship with the Buddhism.These categories derived from theBuddhism,and used widely in the poetics,and its poetic significance had agreat source with the Buddhism,Yuan Rong(圆融) was such a category.Themain content of this thesis is to study the use of the category in the Tang andSong,and interpret its poetic meaning.The first chapter of the thesis focus on combing the application of "YuanRong" category in poetics. The category of "Yuan Rong" put forward by GuanXiu at the Tang dynasty,and used widely in the "Li-Xue" and literature at Songand Yuan dynasty,and used in poetry, drama, fiction, painting and calligraphy,and other aesthetic field widely at Ming and Qing dynasty,formed a completeaesthetic category.The second chapter of the thesis focus on combing the application of"Yuan Rong" category in Buddhism.The thesis discusses the etymology of"Yuan Rong" firstly,the category of "Yuan Rong" derived from the Buddhismand had a close relationship with the traditional Chinese Confucian thoughtand Taoist thought.It was created by the Chinese Buddhism theorists in theprocess of buddhist scriptures translated.The category of "Yuan Rong" usedvery widely in the Buddhism,and had the rich buddhist meaning,had importantinfluence on the ancient Chinese poetics.The third chapter of the thesis focus on discussing the poeticsphenomenon under the influence of the category of "Yuan Rong".Yuan Rongthought have had a profound impact on integrative thinking and dialecticalthinking of ancient Chinese poetics.The holistic way of thinking and theXiaoJieXing way of thinking and the dialectics of poetics,had close links withBuddhist "Yuan Rong" thinking.
