Modernistic thoughts spread everywhere, as if everything has been incorporated into this maelstrom. people long for the arrival of modernity. However, modernity gradually moves towards its opposite. The increasingly tense relationship between men and nature, ecological environment has continued to deteriorating. The beginning of instrumental rationality has leveled the significance of the foundation of the world. Truth, goodness and beauty, as we all know, their unified relationship has been split fragmented. The outbreak of two world wars takes a great hit on people that are extremely believing in science and rationality. Science and technology have becoming the "executioner". All consequences of modernity are closely related with rationality. People begin to reflect on the problem of modernity. It is in this context, post-modernism as a way of thinking has a great development.In this paper, we are trying to compare constructive postmodernism with traditional Chinese culture, especially Confucianism and Taoism culture. According to the study, we can find the similarities between the two kind of culture, which can give us a fresh look and thought on the relationship between men and nature. Introduction focuses on the status of constructive postmodernism at home and abroad, it also introduces the purpose and significance of the thesis. The second chapter introduces the postmodern critique and transcendence compared with modernity, on one hand, we can recognize the problems and crises of modernity, on the other hand, we can also recognize in what aspects that the postmodern critique and transcendence. Chapter Ⅲ introduces the similarities between Chinese traditional culture and constructive postmodernism. From the sight of Chinese traditional culture we can enrich and improve the theory of constructive postmodernism, it can also promote the traditional culture of renewal and change. Chapter Ⅳ introduces the value and significance of the theoretical study from the sight of traditional culture on constructive postmodernism. Not only do we have to ask:What the future hope is. As a better theory, after all, it requires actors to practice, from national leaders, students and migrant workers groups to intellectuals, they will be the hope of the future development of our society. Conclusion claims that the development of constructive is a clue:the problems and and what we can hope for future. Postmodernism attempts to go beyond the critique of modernity, especially the negative post-modernism’s difficulties which can easily lead to a relativism, skepticism and nihilism of the serious consequences, we should try to go on to interpret this trend of thought from the sight of Chinese traditional culture and found their similarities and commonness, in order to better enrich and improve postmodern theory to guide our actions.The article’s features is the use of Giddens’theory of disembedding on the modern essence of in-depth analysis, the Confucian philosophy of holism and "Harmony" and Constructive Postmodernism overall the combined organic theory of thinking research, and Taoist philosophy which "Tao gave birth to all things" thinking is applied to explain the constructive postmodernism theory of internal things and this could well explain many of the theory of constructive postmodernism.
