Standard Dancing has been developed for several years in China, and it has gradually become one of the most popular sports in our country. With the increased competition and the developed dance technique, the fitness training becomes more and more important.Standard Dancing is one of the skill oriented events with difficulty and beauty. It’s developing rapidly in China these years. Fitness in today’s Standard Dancing is higher than it’s ever been, as the technologies developed fast.Through literature review, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, logical analysis, and other research methods, the paper researches on the fitness training of standard dancing. After researching on the subject with the standard dancing features, I have the conclusion that the fitness training of standard dancing consists of four aspects.1) The Periods Training Theory is the frame that standard dancing fitness training should abide by. The guidance of arranging annual periodicity training is consisted of Multi Little Period. The training proportion is different in each period.2) The fitness training is very important in standard dancing daily training. Chinese excellent standard dancer Insist on fitness training every time.3) Fitness training consists of strength, endurance, speed, flexibility, agility and coordination. It is sure to take body-building in the fitness course from the beginning to the end.
