Language is a group of symbols which is created by human to representcertain significance and record culture, it is the main carrier and container ofculture. Also language is a proper tool for expressing and communicationfor human. It has special function and role, with the development of humansociety, it is becoming more and more relatively independent significance,now it has already turned into a important field of the culture and to be apart of special form in culture. Culture is the sum total of material wealthand spiritual wealth that is created in the development of social andhistorical by human. It reflects our self-express and emotional, way ofthinking, behavior, problem solving and so on. Therefore, if we want to bemaster of a new language, we should know the culture of this language.Teaching Chinese to Foreign Leaners is a branch of second languageeducation disciplines in language education, the core content is chinese asthe second language to train students to use and communication. To makethis happen, we should pay attention to the cultural factors in languageteaching, and import the chinese culture properly in TCFL.This paper bases on the current research achievements of culture importing in TCFL, and combines author’s teaching practice, to analyse thedifference between the culture importing teaching and the culture teaching,also points out that the culture importing teaching should follow theprinciple of progressive,applicability and suitability in TCFL. TCSL(Teaching Chinese as a Second Language) teacher should import the chineseculture which affect the language communication better according to thematerials of overseas students, including the historic culture, geographicalculture, communication culture and body language culture. The teachingmethod includes random method, seminar discussion method, and practicingmethod in the teaching. The author finally points out that we should insistthree detailed principles: flexible use of the existing materials, combiningthe reality of students to make teaching plan and actively play the role ofTCSL teachers according to the author’s practice experience.
