For the students who study Chinese as a second language, reading skills are necessary and important for them to master. The questionnaire survey is inspired by the reading strategies that Korean students used in class and the existing problems of them. First the thesis is based on former studies and give a definition and classification of reading strategies. Secondly, according to the SILL of Oxford and the condition of students I make a reliable questionnaire to investigate the sophomore and junior of Inje university. After the survey, I analyse the reading strategies of different group students, including high and low score students, male and female students, sophomore and junior students, students who had been to China or not.The survey gets the following findings:the most common strategies are motivation strategies, least frequently used strategies are social and affective strategies. Using of metacognitive strategies are in biggest difference, but reading skill strategies are in least difference. Motivation strategies is used mostly by high and low score students and social and affective strategies are least used. Compared with male students, female students do better in metacognitive strategies and social strategies, they are more interested in Chinese culture. The sophomore and junior students has some differences in using strategies. Students who had been to China have no significant influence in using these strategies. Finally, I put forward the corresponding suggestions for teachers and students.
