China’s overall national comprehensive strength and international status continue to rise after three decades of reform and opening-up. As a result, Chinese being a language is far more important in contributing the international exchange and cooperation than before. There are more and more teachers persuing their careers in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is a new branch of science, it is entirely different from teaching Chinese in our usual way. Foreign language teachers must have a basic understanding of the theory of linguistics, know well about the Chinese culture and customs. And some skill of foreign language teaching is also essential. The basic skills includes writing,and lesson plans, good running of the plan, allow foreign students to master the language point, well known to the law of the Mandarin Chinese language, understand Chinese culture. We aim at the students’ good mastering of the Mandarin Chinese language and better understanding of Chinese culture. In addition, we should relate the "localization" of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language to the reality of local society and culture, the well acquirement of Chinese can really make a difference for the students’life.Teacher is the director of the lesson, students are actors, and the instructional design, the script. A remarkable instructional design requires good understanding of the intent of the textbooks’ editors. And the teachers should know exactly where the difficulities lie. Their teaching experience and understanding of the content of the textbook should be combined in the process of presenting the lesson for the students, in this way the students can get better absorption and understanding.This paper would be accomplished on the basis of the teaching design lesson for the sixth grade’s students at Cambodia Public Zhongshan School, Siem Reap province, and the lesson is given as an example to disscus with all teaching colleagues.This paper includes four parts, The first chapter is the introduction, provides an overview of the situation of Chinese language education in Cambodia, and its main problems. It elaborates the purpose and the status of the reasearch.The second chapter discusses the basis for the design of the lesson teaching from teaching object analysis, materials analysis, principles of lesson plans, teaching content, teaching arrangements and other aspects of the concepts and methods of teaching design.The third chapter is the main part of this paper, and that is all about how the lesson "magic eye" is designed and implemented. The lesson has be divided into five sections: teaching content, teaching objectives, difficulties of teaching, teaching arrangements and the process of teaching. In the designing process, the students’ understanding of Chinese and the actual situation of Cambodia Chinese education have been taken into account, so as to obtain more efficient teaching of the teacher and understanding of the student.The fourth chapter is the conclusion, including the teaching reflection and insufficiency of the paper. There is an old saying:teaching others teaches yourself. Some useful experience worthy for the researchers who have interest in the themes alike can be provided through the implementation of the teaching and learning.
