China's economy moved towards the world,which makes "Chinese fever " set off all over the world and has also created opportunities for the development of Chinese education.The Confucius Institute arise at the historic moment.Confucius Institute At Royal Academy of Cambodia was founded in 2009.Up to now,it has made lots of achievements,while also encountered some problems in the rapid development.This research mainly about the Chinese Education of Confucius Institute's current situation and the existing difficulties and problems in Cambodia through analyzing current situation of Chinese teachers,Teaching material and Curriculum.Based on the above analysis and research,some corresponding suggestions and advice are given on promoting the development of Confucius Institute's Chinese language education in Cambodia.The major contents in this paper include:(1)In order to analyze the learners' characteristics,I investigated learners' gender,groups,age,degree,learning motivation,working condition and so on through the way of questionnaire and interview.(2)Chinese teachers in Confucius Institute has increased year by year,female teachers are more than the male,jagged gradation of schooling record and so on.(3)This research mostly centers on the current use of teaching material of 12 corresponding teaching schools.Most schools didn't use a series of Chinese teaching materials.(4)Some colleges have a flexible,multiple curriculum.But the development is unbalanced due to different degrees of importance attached to it.While other teaching schools,lesson type is mainly about comprehensive course.Based on the current situation,we should adjust teaching plan reasonably and arrange courses according to the needs of Cambodian students.
