Study On Marx’s Communication Theory And Its Practical Significance In Promoting Human Development

In today’s process of globalization and modernization, discussion of communicative development and human development becomes a new start of Marxist philosophy after exploring criterion of truth, practical issues and subjectivity problems. Based on the previous studies, the present thesis, grounding on Marx’s communication theory, establishes a theoretical foundation by historically investigating thoughts of Marx’s communication and aims to explore significance of Marx’s communication in promoting human development. By applying kernel ideas and main standpoints of Marxism, this thesis systematically elaborates main contents of Marx’s communication theory, such as ideological resources, development course, relationships between subject and main forms of communication, communication and production, communication and practice, universal world communication and human development, etc. It also involves in other issues, such as historical forms of communication and human development, their internal relations, communication and human development at present stage of China, etc. Therefore, it further illustrates practical meanings of Marx’s communication theory in carrying out and implementing the "people-oriented" concept of scientific development and promoting human development under the background of socialist construction with Chinese characteristics.This thesis mainly contains five parts. The first part is the introduction, mainly discussed in this thesis and research the theory significance and the practical significance.The second part is the literature review of the article, briefly introduced the domestic and foreign research status related to this thesis, Marx’s communication theory and human development of the relationship of basic implication. The third part is about ideological resources, development and basic contents of Marx’s communication theory. On the basis of critical inheritance of previous thoughts on communication, Marx’s communication theory has undergone a process of development from sprout to establishment.The fourth part discusses relevance of development of communication and human development as the second main idea of Marx’s communication theory. Based on Marx’s three phases of human development, the thesis expands discussion on internal connection between development of communication and human development. In historical practices, communicative development and human development mutually distinguish and contrast but mutually interact and promote with each other.The fifth stages of human development are in accordance with that of communicative development. The third part studies on contemporary values of Marx’s communication theory in promoting human development. This part aims to illustrate new features of modern communication activities and elaborate contemporary values of Marx’s communication theory in promoting human development.
