Marx's Communication Theory And His Human Development Theory

Communication as a characteristic of social behavior among people, is an existing way of mankind, and also is the dynamic form and active performance of the social relationship of people. Communication develops together with human being, and human exists and developments by communicating. Since the 20th century, science and technology have developed greatly, and the man's way of transforming external nature has been more reasonable. At the same time, the communication way of people is keeping on being distorted. As a result, people developments one-sidedly. Human's reality of contact difficult and development situation cause that people pays a great attention to communication and people's development problem. Since the 90's in the 20th century, process of globalization has gradually speeded up, and different countries and regions in the world have frequently communicated. The way of developing by communicating and communicating with development becomes a quite important practical way that nations use it to be powerful and man uses it to have a all-round development. Developed country and developing country, no matter who she is, will relocate, split up, reorganize and develop in the new round world contact. Communication in states in the new era of globalization becomes more generalized, that provide a helpful condition to people to have free and overall development of human being. With the constant development of productive force, the real communication will come into being when the human lives in the communism society proposed as the highest ideal of human being by Marx. Therefore, man will accomplish the objectives of free and overall development of people itself. Based on the present situation. from the point of interrelationship between communication and the theoty of human development as well as their contemporary value, it is necessary to research by combining the two theories and highlight status and practical significance of the communication theory of human development theory in the Marxist historical materialism theory.Therefore, this paper changes into four parts to research into communication and human development theory of Marx:The first part, it analyzes the mode of thinking and historical process of Marx's communication theory in the different period, including the establishment and development periods. And it interprets and exploits rich ideas that contained and describes the basic characteristics of communication and the relationship between practice and Communication Theory.The second part, it first describes the relationship between communication theory and human development theory, second reveals that communication theory is closely related to human development, then elaborates the communication theory and human development theory of the modern Western philosophers', and last sets forth critical theory of them in order to establish communication and human development theory in the historical materialism.The third part, it first analyzes the consistency between communication and human development, then specifies three historical forms of communication and the corresponding historical patterns of human development, and last draw conclusions that the ideal form of communication is people's free and overall development.The fourth part, it proposes that it needs to overcome the alienation in man's communication in order to realize the real communication. Marx believed that the real communication is a non-special interest activity of free developing people, and such communication a comprehensive and free activity that goes beyond the narrow and selfish interest. Under the background of globalization, this paper objectively evaluates that universalizing communication is the main propulsion that makes the domestic history merging into world history, and also says that it is the essentials for free and overall development of people. Finally, it forecasts the idealist society of Marx. In the communist society, it will realize man's free and overall development at last.
