Xu Wei, Wang Feng and Zheng Jun are the typical representatives of Chinese rock musicians, following Cui Jian. They are activing in rock music and maintain great vitality in Chinese rock music so far. This can be attributed to not only their rock lyrics full of humanity which is close to audience’s aesthetics and pull audience and rock music closer, but also their persistence on writing rock lyrics with humanity and finding best point between business and art.Actually, it is not uncommon to find out works full of humanity in the world history of literature, but unfortunately there are few researches on "humanity" in literary works, especially it is a blind spot for the comprehensive research of rock lyrics. Therefore, this thesis tries to discuss rock lyrics of typical representatives including Xu Wei, Wang Feng and Zheng Jun after Cui Jian in history of Chinese rock music in order to find out and explain the most essential characteristics--humanity in their lyrics. During this process, it is positive to explore change of Chinese rock lyrics and its reason as well as reflect effective experience of spreading of Chinese rock music.The introduction parts are the overview of Xu Wei, Wang Feng and Zheng Jun’s rock music and the concept of "humanity". The first part introduces humanity theme of rock lyrics including three aspects. The first one is alienation of reality and dream on the youth’s road. In their rock lyrics, youth is not just synonymous with lost, depression and decadence, but attitude of anger and resistance which are not restricted to sentiment. The second one is reflection of current individual living circumstances. They consider real individuals into their lyrics which touches individuals’ real soul in modern society. The last one is awakening of depth of soul and pursuit of meaning of life. They bring "love","warmth","faith" and "dream" into rock lyrics whose breadth and depth far beyond peers which is the remarkable symbol of their lyrics. The second part is about the humanity construction of rock lyrics which mainly explore outstanding place of presentation modes of image formation, narrative strategy and rhetoric as well as constant derivation of new meaning during its propagation process and explain humanity within them. The third part discusses the origin and adhering of humanity in rock lyrics. If the history of rock music at home and abroad build a general background for the appearance of human rock, life experience, opportunity of era and collection and absorption of humanistic quality at home and abroad are the footstone of emergence of lyrics humanity. The concept of humanistic rock is supporting them in the way of search of rock.The rock lyrics of Xu Wei, Wang Feng and Zheng Jun, who are striving in the first line of rock music, show abundant connotations with periodic change in style, so plenty of their works need to be studied. The reason why this thesis captures "humanity" of Xu Wei, Wang Feng and Zheng Jun’s rock lyrics is that there is a common characteristics in their works which is a basic point of investigation when they are regarded as a community. But more importantly, their rock lyrics with humanity inspire flagging Chinese rock music.
