This research concerning about homographs that is one of important and inevitablesituation we should figure out when teaching Chinese to Japanese as a second language.itis convenient that using the homographs for Japanese who studying Chinese. but otherhand, it also brings some troubles.especially objections and synonym these two small partsin the homographs easily make the learner confuse or just guess the meaning depending onthe words even the higher–lever leaner. Therefore, studying this topic is significance forteaching Chinese to Japanese as a second language. This research focus on the homographsdescribe methodology is comparative analysis and error analysis then looking forwardsome useful finding to control this situation.The research all the materials according to Chinese HSK (vocabulary and charactersprogram) selected89the most typical homographs to comparative analysis from themeaning of words; the categories of the vocabulary, collocation; and nature of the words.Furthermore, all the comparative analysis information comes from Beijing foreignlanguage university for Japanese learner. So this research will edit these information into5categories that is the vocabulary comparative analysis; Japanese vocabulary translate toChinese; the similar words and homographs.Finding is synonym words are so much more than objection words of the homographsfor teaching in Japanese to Chinese or Chinese to Japanese; the reason for incorrectunderstanding that is Negative transfer of mother tongue is one of the key problems andthe learner lack of the Chinese culture knowledge. finally the research will show thesolution of this problems is pay more attention to this situation and using flexible whenteaching Chinese to Japanese as a second language.
