Study On The Family Of Cyan Color Terms In Shuowen Jiezi

In this paper, cyan words is defined as clues through searching Shuowen Jiezi,we selected29as the study of cyan color terms. In the traditional exegetical theoryand based on the results of previous studies, drawing on the research results ofmodern semantics theory, we can study the characteristics of its meaning and parseits cultural information through constructing the family of cyan color terms.The text mainly consists of the following three parts:The first part is an introduction. The main outlines the family of Cyan colorterms in Shuowen Jiezi. Understanding of the material determined to study thedynamics and significance.The second part is the main subject. It divides four chapters: The first chapteron the family of cyan color terms is cyan words or can be fixed to describe theidentifying green words in Shuowen Jiezi. Throughing collection, sorting,classification, we can establish the system of cyan color terms. This systemincludes29words and divides into6categories. After classification, we can findthat the family of cyan color terms is systematic, but also in terms of quantity, thedistribution of radicals with unbalance.The second chapter we use Song Dynasty Xu Xuan revision of the ShuowenJiezi as the master copy, while making reference to other famous peple about theexegetical notes and books, to explain the meaning of every class word on thebasis of the first chapter in accordance with the family of cyan color terms.The third chapter we reveal words`meaning of cyan color terms in ShuowenJiezi, mainly in the following aspects: it has a system-level resistance; the meaningis rich and can show each other difference; it would deepen gradually with thedevelopment of history; the meaning is implicit fuzzy and so on.The fourth chapter is we analyze the connotation of cyan color terms inShuowen Jiezi based on the research. These words of cyan color terms reflect the prevailing social conditions of life, and dyeing technical level, the traditionalcultural systems, as well as the ancient ancestors of the cultural aestheticpsychology.Finally, the conclusion. We summarize the full text and point out theinadequacies of this paper.
