This thesis researches on the transport route of imperial porcelain from Jingdezhento Beijing, focussing on the change of the routes and delivery way. After analyzing theporcelain documents of the forbidden city, the author demonstrates the change of theroutes in mid and late qing dynasty, and discusses the reason arising the change as well.Through the research of river, road transport and shipping transport routes, the authordiscusses the transport way from Jingdezhen to Beijing, with the control of the emperorand imperial kiln factory. On the basis of this, answering some questions of the researchon transporting the imperial porcelain, including how to transport the imperial porcelainto Beijing in mid and late qing dynasty, and the change of the transport route. The thesistries to recover the the way to transport the imperial porcelain in late Qing dynasty, byanalyzing the document and discussing the route.Through the combination of literature research and textual research of the route, thepaper strives to reback imperial porcelain transport situation under the background of thelate qing dynasty, and explain the reason. After qing dynasty middle-late financialemptiness became a serious problem in the qing court, the internal reasons of the taipingheavenly kingdom movement, the people’s livelihood PiKun depressed, unreasonabletransportation management, etc.; External reasons include foreign invasion forces. Thelate qing government had repeatedly reformed the transportation system,and had putforward a variety of solutions, but have no effect.
