The Current Cost Of Social Development In China

At the moment, development is the theme of the times and the cost of developmentissues is also increasingly revealed. The cost of social development is the effort, sacrifice andthe negative consequence of human’s pursuing of value, creating value and realizing the valuein the social development process of practice. It includes inevitable cost and artificial cost，while, many of our social problems associated with the human cost of social development,China’s cost of social development problems exists in various areas of social development:economic, political, cultural, ecological, and consideration for the development of our societyhas its unique characteristics in the performance: complexity in the form, over-paid,dislocation of the subjects, and the paper argues that the reasons for these costs issues arecomplex and diverse, including the following aspects: people’s subjective artificially, that isthe limitation of cognitive and the defects of moral level, the influence of extensive economicgrowth mode, and the measure of science and technology is too high, the existence of thelimits of market economy, the negative effects of globalization as well as the socialmanagement system is not in place. In the primary stage of socialism and taking the economicconstruction as the center of our country, we should prevent the extreme into the one-sidedpursuit of GDP with a dialectical view of the relationship between development and theconsideration, guided by the correct world outlook and methodology, planningdecision-making, to ensure fair and reasonable price to be paid, to establish the best practices,to guide people’s practice and to grasp the good price to pay for the principle of "degree", onthe development of people orientation, take care of the feelings of human life, finally realizesthe low cost development of society and man’s all-round progress.
