Because Song government encouraged foreign trade, a large number of Muslimmerchants come in China to trade and stay in China for various reasons. They live in theFan Fang and trade in kinds of place. They adhere to the Islamic culture and custom,which influences the Chinese custom. Foreign Muslims who come in china in Tang andSong dynasties formed Chinese Hui source. They had an important impact on the SongDynasty in all aspects of political, economic, cultural, society.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the Foreign Muslims`living Residence-"Fan Fang", including the origin of the name,the set,the squarelocation, including the management of Fan Fang and directors`functions. Managementof Fan Fang created a new management model.The second part introduces the customs of the social life of the Foreign Muslims.This part Includes five aspects: diet custom, clothing and used custom, marriage andreligion, funeral customs and living. Foreign Muslims basically maintain previous habits,which traces Chinese custom, but not obvious.The third section describes the Foreign Muslim legal status, including right of action,residency,protection of property and inheritance. Song government encouraged foreigntrade policy, and tried to attract and care Fan supplier. Song government gave them agreat deal of protection. Even in the actual execution of the process, the special care wasdetached outside of the law. It did not mean that the Song government was lack of control.It reflected the Song government giver foreign visitor special care.
