The1980s is an extremely important period in the history of the development of Chineseliterature. Chinese literature had once again returned to aesthetic and ideological standard thatthe position where literature should be based on after a decades-long repression of excessivepoliticization. As the group which are badly damage under the revolutionary discourse system,intellectuals in this era of literature naturally has its unique reflection of the period. This isanother wave of the literary renaissance long after the May Fourth New Culture Movementthat the care of people once again returned to literature itself. However, literature also has thespecial figure in the1980s and because of the impact of the social environment, it also showssome significantly different idea and form of qualities, some may be good and some may bebad. Under the double impaction of the literary theory of “evolution" which has long beenutilitarian and anxiety of the Western literature which is touched by Chinese literature afterthe Reform and Opening up, intellectuals image in literary more and more alienation andphilosophy, it is far from satisfactory, and to a certain extent lost its practical concernsdimension. By examining the Chinese Literature in the1980s, is not difficult to see,"traditional" as the "anxiety of influence" which exists in the literature and writer who hasbeen abandoned and broken, after all, to restore the image of the intellectuals in literature thepoetic existence of a coordinate, and for Multidimensional traditional and traditionalreflection, reset and beyond, but also become the path to find the habitat of intellectual’s soul.
