From the greatest technological and cultural variables of this era-the Internet,this dissertation gets into contemporary Chinese cultural upheavals, analyze how the combination between the strength and philosophy of the Internet with Chinese special cultural context is spurring a unparalleled landscape---the coexistence of extreme decline and extreme prosperity in contemporary Chinese literature. Back in the original spirit of literature, this paper discusses the overlap of the spirit of literature and network, and what it brings to literary world.The dissertation is composed of four chapters13sections including the introduction, about35000characters.The introduction starts with a news event---the ruination of a famous bookstore "Photosynthesis", then focuses on a culture phenomenon---the booming of massive reading, massive writing and massive exchanges that occur in the cyberspace at the same time. It puts forward a profound question, books and bookstore was main space where the photosynthesis of the human spirit process, and now the digital technology armed screen will play a major role, how will it shape the future literary landscape? On literature, Derrida presented two core strategies---adhering to the openness of the text in the deconstruction and in pursuit of the limitless expressions in the open text. This paper discusses the intersection between "Deconstructionism" and the Internet logic."Out of control" is the core logic of the Internet. The vitality of literature in the network era is to give up control, because literature is a vivisystem which emerges naturally. On the other hand, literature action is a dynamic process of construction. To explore the mystery of the literature, we must keep going forever.To break free from the bondage of the paper, contemporary literature enters a postmodern world without borders and gaps.
