This thesis examines the communication ecology of the calligraphy art in the new media,from the professional perspective of communication science.It focus on the influence to which media technology digitization exert to the spreading of calligraphy art,aiming at providing useful reference for the development of calligraphy art in the new media age.There several survey methods were adopted, including research method, inductive analysis, comparative analysis and cause analysis. Firstly, the paper researches on the situation of the communication of the calligraphy art in the new media as well as the particular form such as calligraphy website, calligraphy blog and calligraphy micro-blog.Then it summarizes the new changes in various links of calligraphy communication in new media. Afterwards, it analysis the current difficulties which the communication is facing and the reasons for the dilemma. Lastly, the paper puts forward policy strategies pertinentlyThe article thinks that the effect power of calligraphy communication in new media has not surpassed that in traditional media. The including the popularization of the disseminator and audience.Both in the dissemination subject and object of the calligraphy art, the grass-root level is getting more access into the information of art, while the elite level which has more access to the new media and controls the discourse power of it are occupying a dominant position increasingly.With the digitizing of media, the communication mode of calligraphical work has been transforming from substantiality to virtual form. And calligraphy has been regarded as a kind of cultural symbol.The unique of calligraphy art itself determines its dependence of communication tools. A fierce conflict has happened between the dependence and the digital media revolution.During the attempting to solve this problem, the calligraphy art has developed via two different paths, artistic-exploration pattern and practical-design pattern. The paper also puts forward five-point policy strategies for calligraphy communication in the digital age, which consists of balance development of the two paths, cultivation of new talent, combination old and new media, emphasis on international communication, and improving the management and specification. |
