With the development of TCFL (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages), more and morepeople begin to pay attention to the methods of teaching Chinese to foreigners. Related papers andmonographs kept emerging. According to many discussions, interestingness and timeliness are recognizedas two very important principles in mandarin class. The teaching rule of classroom games well embodiesthese two principles, which is one of the most popular teaching methods in recent years. In this paper, westudied the traceability of the teaching rules of games at home and abroad, pointing out the significance ofGame Teaching Method in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. In mandarin class, inaccordance with different standards, classroom games can be divided into different types and solve varioustypes of problems. On this basis, we studied further on classroom games designation and pedagogy, andput up the opinion that the purpose of playing games is not just for the game itself, but to improve thequality of mandarin classroom teaching. When we are designing classroom games, we must account for thecharacteristics of students from different countries, different ages, and the teachers own conditions as wellas the school teaching environment. Successful classroom games play a vital role in improving the qualityof classroom teaching, while classroom teaching evaluation can judge whether a classroom game is good ornot effectively.
