This is the most detailed and the most complete edition in our database. Itis about two thousand words and expresses almost all the details from Han dynastyto Tang dynasty. It increases many plots such as Hanpeng’s lost of his father, thedeep love between Hanpeng and his wife, the king Song was been killed with afeather, and so on. This plots make the story completed and contacted and emphasison the brutal and inability of the stronger and the wisdom and unyielding of theweaker. It eulogize the loyalty and tragic love between Hanpeng and his wife.My master article research the ancient literature opus with the literature andliterary theory. The first chapter is about the age of the thesis, the first decades ofTang dynasty, the culture policy and the local culture characteristics in Tang dynasty.In the opinion of this thesis, the culture in Dunhuang in Tang dynasty is abundant,diversiform, luxuriant, it includes Confucianism, Shi, Taoist school’s theory and thepeculiarity of the chivalrous spirit, expresses that the people in that epoch chasedfreedom and bearty. The second chapter systematically analysis the contents of thestory according to the documents which are named soushenji, lieyizhuan, theclassification and assemble of literature thesis. In this part, the article discusses thedifferent trait of the story in different epoch and the process of continuous increasedcontent completion. It also analyses the different trait of the story in different eraaccording to the different edition of the story. The third chapter analyses the literary,esthetics and folklore value of the story with the theory of literature and theinfluence to the poems and verses written by many literati in different epoch.
