Research On The Story Of Prince Attain Enlightenmenit Bianwen In Dunhuang Literature

This paper collects and analyzes thirty-threemanuscripts of the prince attain enlightenment story bianwenand other related manuscripts in dunhuang literature.It is considers that the 8 prince attain enlightenment scripture manuscripts can be divided into three versions;The S.3711 volume and the P.2249 volume which named The Prince Siddhartha Monastic Karma are written by a same person according to the same copy,and it was copied or created in a guiwei year of Lunar calendar;Baxiang bianwen(yi)adopted chapters form of copying,which has something in common with P.2299;The copying time of S.4504 volume is after 875 AD;The new discovery,S.4401,?x02114 and ?x01225 three manuscripts which named prince attain enlightenment bianwen;This article examines all the existing verses related to the story of Prince Edward 's enlightenment,and finds that these separate transcripts of the Yazuowen,the Jiezuowen,the prose can be used as a solitary object,but also as part of the story of Prince Edward' s story;The P.2459 V,S.4194 and P.2837 are not the copy of the Abhiniskramana-sutra,and they may be Abhiniskramana-sutra Jiangjingwen.And P.3317 Contents of Abhiniskramana-sutra after Third volumes is the outline of Abhiniskramana-sutra Jingjingwen;Theprince attain enlightenment story bianwenfused mang wonderful storyline from Buddhist Scripture,and rearranged or riched the storyline from Buddhist Scripture.Such BianWen stories is vivid,with a strong story and show a variety of supernatural changes,so there are a large of prince attain enlightenment story bianwe and are well received;The telling and singing form of prince attain enlightenment story bianwen all ues a way which telling a story,and then sing a verse.And repeat until the story end;The Yazuowen of The prince attain enlightenment scripture are basically the same as the Baxiang Yazuowe.This phenomenon shows The prince attain enlightenment scripture borrowed the BaxiangYazuowe.P.2999?S.548 and S.2352 are the Manuscripts of The prince attain enlightenment scripture;S.2682 and BD.06780(qian80)have the story of the Prince left the snow mountain and a Jiezuowen,and this Jiezuowen actually borrowed from Lotus Sutra Jiezuowen.
