The Research On The Words In Shu Shui Ji Wen And The Supplement Of The Chinese Grand Dictionary

The note of Song dynasty “Sushuijiwen” is one of the most important books ofSima guang, it has a wide range of content and contains extremely rich corpus, so issuitable for the research of a certain book lexical. The Great Chinese Dictionary is themost authoritative reference book of Chinese language, but there are some carelessomissions and scarcities. Taking “Sushuijiwen” as vocabulary materials, there arethree shortcomings we need to discuss deeply, that is word items, explanations,illustrations. And they are pointed out and corrected in this thesis. The thesis isdivided into five chapters. Content as follows:Chapter one analysis the selected title causes, writing valve and method,introduces the main content and the edition of “Sushuijiwen”.Chapter two researches the vocabulary of “Sushuijiwen” in the sense of revisingof The Great Chinese Dictionary, and supplies the missing word items of the GreatChinese Dictionary.Chapter three through researches the vocabulary of “Sushuijiwen”, we foundsome word items’s explanations of The Great Chinese Dictionary did not cover allthe meanings or not very accurate, and supplies the missing explanations of worditems and modifies the error meaning items in the Great Chinese Dictionary.Chapter four collects the materials and do textual research, and supplies theillustrations and advances the time of illustrations in the Great Chinese Dictionarythrough researches the vocabulary of “Sushuijiwen”.Chapter five is conclusion. Summarizes the basic conclusions and describes thedeficiency of thesis and efforts in the future.
