The first part of this thesis is theintroduction, mainly elaborated the research background of this topic and the researchsignificance and research history review, and then expatiates the research contents,research methods and innovation. The second part elaborated the Wei Jin Southern andNorthern dynasties before the Chinese sculpture aesthetics, including the rise of theChinese sculpture, the sculpture and its different aesthetic features and the introductionof Buddhism in China and the process of the early Eastern Han Dynasty Buddhistsculpture aesthetic features. The third part elaborated the Wei Jin Southern and NorthernDynasties Buddha carving the prosperous reason, including the Wei Jin metaphysics prosperity with a combination of Buddhist culture, literati statue rise and its aestheticcharacteristic and the Wei Jin Southern and Northern dynasties ruling class attitudetoward Buddhism and the Buddha carving aesthetic effects. The fourth part elaboratedthe Buddhism in Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties sculpture aesthetic effects,including the early Buddhism Statue Figurine art characteristics of India, the termBuddhist statue appear Chinese localization characteristic, the late Northern WeiDynasty Buddhism statue "show bone light like " development and the NorthernDynasty Buddhist statue sculpture aesthetic effect in the Sui and Tang dynasties.
