In the overall design of TCFL Setting different courses according to different skills in listening,speaking, reading, writing for learners is the requirements of the teaching target, and it is alsouniversally adopted by teaching institutions in our country.The skills of Chinese reading can be obtained by learning from intensive reading course,extensivereading course, newspapers course and so on. Intensive reading course is the backbone in the currentteaching system since it is comprehensive,newspaper course is indispensable for its clear target.Studies have shown that the Chinese newspapers is the biggest desire for the learners who possesscertain reading ability.Reading Chinese newspapers is not only an important way for learners tounderstand Chinese society but also an effective way to measure the level of learners on Chinesereading. The learners’ needs is the basis on setting up and researching Chinese newspaper course.Moreover, it is closely related to HSK,The materials in HSK are not selected from any textbooksbut newspapers. There are some limitations in the current textbooks owning to literary and spokencolor. Newspapers course make up for this shortfall in a high degree.Learners can touch freshlanguage and it can directly help t hem in HSK.Newspapers language research is less applied to Chinese teaching in the existing research gains,and media language is less linked to TCFL,This is the inadequacies for TCFL.In this paper, we combine the TCFL research and news research to analyze the newspaperlanguage feature. On the basis, we propose the teaching strategies in the classroom of the TCFL,hoping which can be used to the future TCFL.
