In recent years, teaching Chinese as a foreign language has been taken more and more attention all over the world, so the corresponding Chinese teaching material analysis also get more and more attention for some scholars. I select two most suitable Chinese teaching materials from many materials for overseas middle school students, they are "Happy Chinese" and "Learn Chinese with Me". First of all, there is a comparative analysis of the text from the overall aspects between the two sets of textbooks, then putting forward some advices in the part. Second, a comparative analysis for new words of two sets of textbooks, summing up experience and recommend some writing advice. Third, in terms of grammar, through the same grammar project comparison and analysis to find out the advantages and disadvantages between the two sets of textbooks, then put forward some writing advice. Finally, taking practice as the research object, looking for the characteristics and shortcomings of the two sets of textbooks on choreography, then put forward some according suggestions. This article also hope can provide opinions and suggestion to the overseas middle school textbooks, so as to improve the students’ Chinese learning level and interests in Chinese learning.
