Chinese characters are the basic materials of the Chinese and an important part of teaching and research of Chinese teaching for foreigners. In order to improve the teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language, it is need to explore the morphological basis of Chinese character, design teaching methods by combining the characteristics of Chinese characters, and further to increase the efficiency of the teaching of Chinese characters. On the bases of these, we will explore the implementing methods of the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and effectively apply these methods to this field.To select a proper teaching method, we need to understand the characteristics of Chinese characters. Therefore, considering the complicated structure of Chinese characters, the large number of them, and the difficulties confronted by foreign learners, the author, by combining the current research status of the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, will focus on forming a reasonable system for reading and remembering Chinese characters by collecting and analyzing large number of information concerning Chinese character explanation and brining in relevant theories.We advocate a step-by-step teaching method by putting Chinese characters in the context of morphological basis and semantics, namely (1) strokes-parts-the whole word (structural system);(2) combinations of forms、pronunciation、meaning of character (the rationale for that system);(3) by word (semantic system). We will form a new set of theory and methods for Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching on the basis of the characteristics of Chinese characters, and expand the discussion in accordance with the above order.In this thesis, the author makes a qualitative-quantitative statistics and analysis aiming at the2905modern Chinese characters included in the Character grade Outline. In the classical method of creating characters, the author conducts a statistics concerning the constructive source type of each character in line with the quantity of characters defined by the Character grade Outline.By means of studying both the static description and analysis of Chinese characters and the dynamic evolution of the origin of Chinese characters, the author tries to reveal the objective law of the evolution of Chinese characters in order to develop the study of Chinese characters structure and put forward principles and methods for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The introduction section tells the purpose and the significance of choosing this topic, the object of study, research ideas and research methods, etc.The main body of the thesis is divided into eight parts:Chapter Ⅰ, static description and dynamic evolution theoretical analysis of Character grade Outline, all Chinese characters in Character grade Outline are for static structural analysis and explained in detail the dynamic evolution of the theoretical analysis.Chapter Ⅱ, analyze the origin type of the Chinese characters collected in Character grade Outline, conduct statistics on the structural sources of each word type in line with the principles of the the classical method of creating characters.Chapter Ⅲ, Chapter Ⅳ, Chapter Ⅴ, Chapter Ⅵ of "Character grade Outline received pictograph, referring to things the word, knowing the character, shaped the sound of the word static type analysis and interpretation of the description and the evolution of origins.Chapter Ⅶ, by analyzing the evolution reasons and rules of the Chinese characters collected in Character grade Outline, make a detailed explanation for the simplification, differentiation, wrong-variation and substitution appearing in the font change of Chinese characters.Chapter Ⅷ, based on the above analysis, we propose some ideas concerning the methods of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and its textbook compilation from the following four aspects:the ancient representative of Italian words traceable teaching; the closing-shaped sound character of the teaching strategy explore; mark word, a half mark word of Teaching Strategy; teaching strategies of the word "Character grade Outline homologous four angles to discuss.
