The Collation And Annotation Of Cheng Benli’s Collected Poems

Cheng Benli,a deciple of BaoXun,was born in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty,What’s more,he was a literati actived in the period of Hongwu and Jianwen.Zhu Yizunonce appraised him as one of the leaders of the ministers in the poet.But the currentliterature research are deficient both on the studies of basic documentation and theliterary creation,lacking the systematic and comprehensive analysis.There are largerspace to reasearch particularly on anthology arrangement and biography of him.Thispaper focus on the annotation of the poems of Cheng Benli, on this basis, the processBenli and his poetry and poetry creation background, ideological content, style of poetryand so on.This paper is divided into two parts. The part, being based on The Collected Poemsof XunYing that photocopied the edition of Ming Jiajing Wu Nanxi, collates and annotatesCheng Benli’s poems with The Collected Poems of XunYing which was published byYanyi Hall of Tongxiang Jin Tan’s Wenrui Building in Kangxi and The Collected Poemsof XunYing in Si Ku Quan Shu of Wenyuan Pavilion.This part is Cheng Benli’s poetry study, is divided into three chapters: the firstchapter, concerns his family, friends and life and focuses on the research of himself.Thesecond chapter,focuses the editions of his "The Collected Poems of xunyingChengxiansheng " according to correlative historical materials and later spread along thepoetry.The last chapter, considering Cheng Benli’s poetry creation background,ideological content and the style of his poetry.
