We take the note of Song dynasty-Shao shi wen jian lu as vocabulary materials, there arethree shortcomings we need to discuss deeply, that is missing of meaning items They are pointedout and corrected in this paper, we hope it will be useful for the revising and improving of theChinese Grand Dictionary. we will briefly describe the five chapters in this paper now.The first chapter: Describes the reason and the significance of the paper, introduces thecontent and the version of shao shi wen jian lu, at the same time, it also tells the researchmethods of this paper.The second chapter: Missing of meaning items in Shao shi wen jian lu and the supplement ofthe Chinese Grand Dictionary. Due to the words in Shao shi wen jian lu are rich, Compilers cannot avoid to miss many of these words, through diachronic description and synchronic study, thedeductive method combined with inductive methods, we found these words in the ancientliterature appeared in high frequency.The third chapter: vague meaning items in Shao shi wen jian lu and the supplement of theChinese Grand Dictionary. On the meaning item study of shao shi wen jian lu,we found theChinese Grand Dictionary has lost some meaning item, here we make a further improvementand supplement.The fouth chapter: lag of documented evidence in Shao shi wen jian lu and the supplement ofthe Chinese Grand Dictionary. This part includes two aspects, the first aspect is lag of thedocumented evidence, the second aspects is the lack of documented evidence and solitarydocumented evidence. Because the documented evidences have much help for interpret thewords, express the item,display items, and explores the origin. Study on the examples of wordscan promote the term learning and understanding, these words can also provide reference forrevision.The fifth chapter: Summarize the basic conclusions,describe the deficiency of paper and thefuture efforts that need to continue to study.
