Xuan Jiang Shi Yi is a draft for Xuan Jiang activity which is organized bynon-government groups. From the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republican, Xuan JiangShi Yi had been one of the most important drafts. The first edition of Xuan Jiang Shi Yi waspublished in1872. After that, three different editions occurred: the reprinted edition in theeighth year of GuangXu, the edition in the twenty-fourth year of GuangXu which ispublished by TianJin JiSheng Agency, and the edition in the third year of the Republican.This article has researched the organizer, the contents, and the form of moralizationin late Qing Dynasty which is based on the text of Xuan Jiang Shi Yi. At last, the Articletry to draw a picture of the moralization in late Qing Dynasty through the research.This article is divided into five parts.First chapter is an introduction for article.Second chapter is the research for the organizer of moralization in late Qing Dynasty.At last, We conclude that the gentry play the leading role in Xuan Jiang of the late QingDynasty.The third part analyze the contents of the moralization.The fourth part has an observation about the form of the moralization in late QingDynasty. This chapter is composed of three parts, separately analyzing the story form ofXuan Jiang Shi Yi, the moralization based on ghosts and gods, and the speech form ofXuanjiang.The fifth part is the conclusion which has drew a picture of the whole moralization ofgovernment in late Qing Dynasty.
