Chinese Loanwords Study Under The Cross-cultural Communication

Language is one of the important parts of culture. At the same time, the21st century is the age of information globalization, Because between countries culture mutual infiltration, with the increasing of intercultural communication, vocabulary as a carrier of the semantics of intercultural communication, as well as the most rich change part of language, so the foreign words in the language of life plays an important role in our life. Loanword, now, is an essential part of Chinese vocabulary, and important content of the vocabulary study. This thesis is to national exchanges and integration of history and the background of modern communication activities across borders, explores as an important characterization of cross-cultural exchange and the fusion time, fusion of languages, especially the development of foreign words. Loanwords, as the research object, this article selects modern combing analysis of development situation of foreign words, and tries to explore development to today’s Chinese language and the history of such a large system. In addition to the epilogue, this thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is the research significance and the interpretation of the concept of loanwords. Let’s get a general idea of the modern Chinese loanwords naming and definition. The second part is the Chinese and foreign borrowed each other’s phenomenon of the statement. This section from the Chinese loanwords in English loanwords in Chinese and English two aspects discusses respectively. Especially summarizes the development and characteristics of the main research object of the loanwords. It is divided into four different periods of discourse and language contact and evolution.The third part tells about a blend of Chinese and foreign culture and the production and propagation f or loanwords. By analyze the process of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries, Language contact and evolution because the field, region, time, characters and culture of different and every kind of restriction removed, by the above factors, also affect the internal characteristics of various social factors and linguistic system. The third part also introduces the cultural convergence of Chinese and foreign borrowing, roughly clear language in communication in the integration features. The fourth part discusses both foreign words in the relationship and function of teaching. The paper based on the diachronic study of foreign-originated words in the words-history--cross-cultural closely together. So loanwords have become a part of our daily communication indispensable. The paper study on loanwords has considerable practically significance.
