Founded on October11,1925, the Life Weekly is one of the major magazines in the Chinesemodern history. With the difference of the social background, the theme of the Life Weeklychanged from the vocational education to life entertainment then reviewed the changing to thediscussion of politics. After the Mukden Incident, the Life Weekly became a major platform forpublic opinions of the Anti-Japanese War. In this paper, use the contents of the Life Weeklyfrom the Mukden Incident to the prohibited by the ROC government in1933as the researchobject. Start with the discusses of the transition of the Life Weekly, the first chapter involved abrief opinion of the magazine’s main column, then discussed the Life Weekly with the contentsfrom the Mukden Incident to the Shanghai Incident of the Anti-Japanese War. The articledivided the reports into two sections, the first is a detailed report on the Japanese invasion ofChina, and then for the national government critics and the anti-Japanese front-line support.Furthermore, as in the same period, make a comparison of the Dagongbao and the Life Weekly.Finally, summarize the sprit in the magazine.
