In the initial stage of learning Chinese characters, Chinese characters pattern is thebiggest obstacle for many students to learn Chinese. The so called "Chinese characters isdifficult "for students results from writing Chinese characters pattern. As one of the importantresearch topics on modern Chinese, Chinese characters pattern is also the key point as thefocus of second language teaching. This paper is mainly Chinese characters learning.Accordto a survey among junior students from International communication and education at HebeiUniversity, this paper mainly talks about Chinese characters learning, including acquirederrors in Chinese characters learning, analysis the causes of errors. In addition, the learningstrategies and teaching strategies have been proposed in order to helps students overcome thefear of Chinese characters is hard to writing, train elementary Chinese students to gainChinese characters word sense, establish Chinese characters stroke awareness, and improvethe learning efficiency of their learning efficiency.Chapter one introduces the research object, the content, methods and purpose; Chaptertwo is the overview of modern Chinese character glyph, demonstrating and analyzing Chinesecharacter glyph from three different levels,which are strokes, components and the whole word.As the same time, key and difficult points for foreign students in learning Chinese characterglyph have been analyzed; The investigation among the International communication andeducation of Hebei University junior students is discussed in chapter three. Which incudes thequestionnaire design, the issue recycling process and results analysis; In chapter four, basedon the basic survey situation combined with date collected, analysis about different types ofacquired errors in Chinese characters shape learning will be shown. In chapter five, potentialcauses of errors in the Chinese characters pattern learning will be discussed and analyzedbased on the survey and corpus investigation results; In chapter six, effective Chinesecharacter glyph learning strategies are proposed in addition to the foreign Chinese characterteaching strategies. Briefly, Chinese character component and structure teaching are combined, increase the learning period of Chinese characters learning, and attach greater importance tothe calligraphy class and so on, all of which will contribute to improve students’ Chinesecharacter glyph learning rapidly, accurately, and effectively.
