The translation report tries to analyze the handling of translationbetween vagueness, overtone and explicitness by taking Political Islam in CentralAsia translation for example. Analysis is made about translation difficulties andsolutions are putting forward. Many translation skills are implemented into practice,by adjusting sentence structures, wording, giving full play to Chinese writing’sfeatures with explanation. The content of the book is that Islamist radical groups havecaught increasing attention since tragic events of11September2001and U.S.invasion of Afghanistan. Hizb ut-Tahrir is the second largest Islamist fundamentalistgroup in the world, enjoying broad impact in Central Asia with huge number ofmembers all over the world. Analysis is made on the group’s historical, presentsituation with forecast for the group’s future. It is concluded that it is its ideology thatmake the group remain its non-violent strategy.
