The issue of "how to rebuild traditional culture and promote them to general public" has became a hot topic in folklore’s field in recent years. And this issue also exists in the inheritage of traditional technologies. Looking back upon a cultural object’s history and observing the producer of the culture is the first step of researching. Thereinto, producer’s cultural identity is worthy of studying. The process of cultural identity is dynamic and long-term that culture’s change brings with the transformation of people’s cultural identity.Productive protection has been viewed as an effective way on protecting intangible cultural heritage, especially on the protection of traditional technologies, traditional arts and traditional medicine. Even more, productive protection has become one of foundational social mechanisms on keeping cultural inheritance and development. In executing productive protection on an intangible cultural heritage, particularly on a folk technology, it could not be neglected the function between people and their cultural identity. The functions both have positives and negatives which are enough to affect the result of productive protection.In the article, the writer chose the traditional technology of Fuzhou’s cork picture, which has been identified as a state-level intangible cultural heritage, as the object of study, and focused on its group of producers’organization which carries out productive protection directly. By the means of literature research and fieldwork, the article analyzed the influences on technology’s inheritage which the group of producers’organization brought about. Then, it reflected in detail on the issues of practicing productive protection. At the end, writer concluded the relationship between producers’organization and other social groups, and made own points for productive protection.There are five parts in the article. The first part is to define key words and to comb relative academic Information. The second part is to systemize oral data of narrators’memory with the transformation process of cork picture industry, and to evidence with writer’s observation. Based on oral data and practice on the working spot, the third part composes all details about labor-division, technological process and artistic characteristics. The forth part is to analyze the inner link between the transformation of producers’groups and the inheritage of cork picture’s technology, then to structure a framework for productive protection. The fifth part is the conclusion for the whole article with a reflection of limitation.Through analyzing in-depth, writer get a conclusion that executing productive protection should be base on multi-perspectives inspect and adequate preparation with a principle of moderation. In the framework of productive protection, the most important thing is to steer cultural identity in producers’ groups, improve the survivability of groups. On that basis, the core goal could be achieved that keeping the facility, integrity and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
