Tang Zhe Gui " is a unique cultural phenomenon in Xiongjia village people’s lives, it contains abundant historic culture, and condensing the unique cultural psychology of Xiongjia village people.This paper selects the " Tang Zhe Gui " custom in Xiongjia village in Dou Gou town of Wuwei County of Wuhu City of Anhui province as the research content, and mainly integrated adopt field investigation and literature research methods, to do experience observation and in-depth description on the folklore matters of "Tang Zhe Gui" custom. The " Tang Zhe Gui " custom in Xiongjia village is the national cultural being accumulated from their traditional social lives. It has the characteristics of history and geography. Thus, the paper preliminary analyzes the cultural connotation witch behind the " Tang Zhe Gui " custom, and further discusses its social function. On the basis, it attempts to highlight the important position and role of " Tang Zhe Gui " custom in Xiongjia village people’s lives, and understands Xiongjia villagers’ world outlook, values, view of disease and cultural traits by investigating and studying the folklore of" Tang Zhe Gui" custom. Thus, we can better understand the present survival situation about the culture of Xiongjia villagers, and to better protect, inherit, and develop the traditional culture of Xiongjia villagers.In the concrete structure, this paper is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, it explains the origin and significance, research topics, main research methods and field selection; The second part mainly introduces the community background of Xiongjia village in Wuwei County of Anhui province, including the administrative organizational system evolution of Xiongjia village, natural geography, human geography environment, villages’life source and way of life and villagers’ view of disease, which is in order to analysis on the causes of the formation of " Tang Zhe Gui " custom; The third part descriptes the field cases of" Tang Zhe Gui" custom of Xiongjia village in detail; The fourth part combined with the field cases, introduces the cultural connotation of " Tang Zhe Gui " custom in depth; The fifth part preliminarily discusses the social function of " Tang Zhe Gui" custom; Finally, facing with the social reality of doctor-patient contradiction, lacking of medical resources and other problems, the last conclusion part has made the related thinking to the contemporary thinking of" Tang Zhe Gui" custom of Xiongjia village, and points out that the " Tang Zhe Gui " custom of Xiongjia village has its own reasonable existence.The study of" Tang Zhe Gui " custom in Xiongjia village in Wuwei County of Anhui province in the paper is only a kind of attempt discussion.
