Lexicalization Of "Shuo Bu De" And Some Problems Related To It

The object of this research is "shuo bu de".With a general examination of the development of "shuo bu de" in different historical periods,we will outline the lexicalization progress and study the motive and mechanism of "shuo bu de".Then we will explore the phenomena of the word exit and pursuit the mechanism and the significance of Sociolinguistics of language sub-criterion phenomena.The thesis consists of six chapters:Chapter One will give a review of the status of the research and point out its insufficiency,then sum up the purpose and significance of this research and its theoretical framework.Chapter Two will examine the development of "shuo bu de".According to these statistical analysis,we will pay attention to syntactic, semantic and pragmatic function of different grammatical unit types of "shuo bu de", detailed description of each periods of the process of evolution,outline the lexicalization progress of "shuo bu de".Chapter Three will retell the process of lexicalization of "shuo bu de" and conclude lexicalized motive and mechanism "shuo bu de":reanalysis,the syntactic structure location, subjectivasation and so on.Chapter Four will analysis the distribution and pragmatic function of "shuo bu de" in modern Chinese,and examine the Pragmatic feature of "shuo bu de" in modern Chinese dictionary as well as in modern Chinese corpus,then probe into the words like "shuo bu de" and try to explain the reason and feature of the word exit. Furthermore,we’ll pursuit the mechanism of language sub-criterion and then draw the conclusion that the word develops and changes with the society.Chapter five is the conclusion, which is an overview of the thesis:recall the lexicalized course of "shuo bu de", summarize its lexicalized motive and mechanisms and clarify the reason and feature of the word exit and the mechanism of language sub-criterion.
