Build A Poetic Space: Description Of My Painting

This article is a guide to my personal creative of oil painting，also the practice ofself-creation record and summarize. There is the specific operating and methodology that I havesummed up and used to guide to my personal practice in this article, and also including thewhole process of my painting practice including the reflection and research. This article aims tostart from my own creative thinking, combined with previous theory of poetry and painting toestablish theoretical analysis and supporting. By stating the tentative process of practice for mypursuit of "poetic" fun in painting and the significance of this practice, to prove my point of viewwhich is “to paint with the emotion of poet”，and to evaluate this point of view from feasibilityand validity.This article contains four parts, the first chapter stated the origins of my thinking and theoryconfirms, and the "poetic" Keywords’ specific interpretation and personal interpretation, but alsoexplained the meaning of the topic of this article and the purpose of the topics.The second chapter discusses my creative thinking, study theory and combined withpersonal experience. I summed up the painting methodology, in order to support and guide thecreation of my practice. The chapter is divided into three aspects to discuss. The first one is theimmanency of painter; Second, creation itself; Third, for painting expression.The third chapter has recorded the individual specific practice. According to themethodology in the second chapter, I practiced one by one to find the corresponding method. Inthe same time, more details of description were told that is of my thinking process whit painting,the subject matter, the specific content and the process of painting.The fourth chapter is summarized and sentiment.After these four chapters, I had experienced from theory to practice, gaining the experiencefrom the study and the actual operation. I explained the process of my creative practice by a step-by-step description. Obtained this painting theory “painting with ‘emotion of poet’ and topursuit ‘poetic’in oil painting” that is adapted to guide my creation. And I also want to share mypersonal experience which obtained in the course of my study. I hope that could make some helpfor both painters and readers.
