Several Heterogeneous Characteristics And Significance Of Sichuan Huguang Speech’s Phonetic System

Language is the most important communication tool,and meanwhilesignificant expression symbols for human beings. Still further,dialect is such anintegral part of our life. As the living fossil of ancient chinese research, dialectprovide valuable materials.“Huguang speech” and “Nanlu speech” are the two big dialects in sichuanprovince and chongqing area, the one in the eastern and northern banks of the MinRiver, and the other one in the western and southern banks.”Huguang speech” refersto pass through Chengdu and Chongqing area, represented by Chengdu andChongqing dialects, It has common features of the Southwest Mandarin.”Nanluspeech” refers to speech that locates in southwest of chengdu such as Chongzhou,Dayi.IT has its own unique characteristics in pronunciation and vocabulary. Andthe largest difference distinguish from "Huguang speech" is its independent enteringtone.Both of Shuangliu Baijia area and Longquan Baihe area are located in thesuburb of chengdu southwest direction.They are in the border of Huguang andNanlu speech. So they possess some characteristics of Huguang and Nanlu speechin voice.Actually dialect in both of that two area is “Nanlu speech” with “Huguangspeech” features.This paper is divided into six parts: the first part is an overview of the dialectsurvey and research methods.Then the Shuangliu Baijia and Longquan Baihe area’sgeographic profile and administrative divisions. The second part narratives twoareas’ dialect division and the present research status. The third part gives a meticulous description on two areas’ phonetic system. The four part separatelycompares the Shuangliu Baijia speech and Longquan Baihe speech’s phoneticsystem to “Nanlu speech” and Chengdu speech’s. The five part is a short summary.The six part is Shuangliu Baijia speech and Longquan Baihe speech’s homophonetable.
