| A financial crisis happened in Asia at the end of1990s. It had a hugeimpact on the Thailand’s economy. It also influenced on Thailand’s film industryand led it to its trough. Under such circumstances, Thailand’s filmmakers faced anddeliberated this problem in a very short time, and finally guided the whole industryinto revival with a brand new appearance. The types of Thailand films have becomemore diligent and diverse, which caused the emergence of campus films. Thailand’scampus film does not use a lot of editing techniques and beautiful pictures. It doesnot look for astonishing work as well. Differently, it revolves the culture andemphasizes on the plot and dialogue. It is the unaffectedness and genuineness thatmade Thailand campus film stands out in the world.This essay mainly studies the reception aesthetic theory of Thailand campusfilms.
